What is the cost of this service?

Our base fee to cover time and expenses is $200 if the deer is not located. An additional fee of $150 will be charged if the deer is successfully located, regardless of it’s condition.

Any driving distance greater than 30 miles away from our office location will result in an additional $1.00 per mile beyond

Is this service legal?

Absolutely. Trevor, the pilot, operates the drone under his FAA Part 107 license. In the state of Ohio, drones may be deployed in order to locate and aid in the recovery of a legally hunted animal. If the animal is found to be alive, the drone must be withdrawn immediately; however the pilot is allowed to advise the hunter on the last known location of the animal.
We are constantly monitoring legal changes, and in communication with state law enforcement to ensure all processes align with state and federal legislature.

Why should I recover with a drone?

We believe each recovery should be swift, simple, and sure. We know the challenge and grief of losing your target deer to the wilderness. Whether you are an experienced guide or a novice hunter, some deer just know how to disappear.
The drone we use combines aerial imagery, thermal data, and cutting-edge AI technology to locate your harvested deer with ease, while still respecting your hunt.

Thermal drones work day and night to help you when you need it most. Scioto-Hocking does, too.
